Ha Long Bay where you should visit once in your life

Ha Long Bay is considered one of the most valuable treasure of Vietnam and probably the top tourist attraction of the country. It also has been listed in UNESCO’s World Heritage Site and recently been voted as one of the New7Wonders of the World.
In fact, Ha Long is a place in which we should visit once in your life to admire the sculpture of nature that Creator has bestowed.
Looking down from above, Ha Long Bay looks like lively picture. Ha Long owns the beauty of world wonder. According to the legend, Ha Long Bay is surrounded by many islands as pearls released by dragon. Therefore, it attracts many tourists coming here to both explore the legend and admire the majestic beauty. Here are some famous places such as Hon Trong Mai, Hon Con Coc, Sung Sot Cave, Thien Cung Cave, Soi Sim Islet…

First off, visitors should visit Soi Sim Islet. Soi Sim is an small island which is located in the west of Ha Long Bay.  It's about 12 kilometers far from Bai Chay tourist wharf and about 700 meters from Ti Top Island. This is a land - island with two peaks around 100 meters high, a dimple in the middle, and slopped to the southwest.

Talking about the name “Soi Sim”, the local people said that in the past, the major plant on the island was Rhodomyrtus tomentosa that is called “sim” in Vietnamese. Therefore, the island was named after that plant, “Soi Sim”.

Soi Sim Island has an area of 8.7 ha. On the island, there are two 200-meter hills covered by a green primeval forest. This primeval forest is home to many species of flora, especially endemic plants. According to the researchers, the reason Soi Sim has many endemic species is that this island has formed hundreds of millions of years ago, then was surrounded by sea. The local people said that previously there were many myrtle grew on the island, then it was named as Soi Sim.
Coming to Soi Sim Island, tourists will be impressed by peaceful ambiance and natural beauty of green primeval forest and blue sea. There are two charming beaches on the island with the stretch of white sand and clear seawater. These are the preferred beaches of tourists on the holiday on Ha Long Bay. Moreover, from the top of the hills on Soi Sim Island, tourists will have great views to the spectacular scenery of Ha Long bay.
One of the best places that Visitors should have pay a visit is Thien Cung Cave and it is certain that you will never forget its magnificence.

Located about 100m in the northern of Dau Go island, Thien Cung Grotto is  a large cave with well-known beauty of Ha Long Bay. It is one of the most recently discovered caves in the bay, but that certainly does not make its interior any less impressive. In addition to the countless stalactites that hang from the high ceiling, visitors are often struck by the breathtaking artwork create by the hands of time.

The delegates of the investment promotion conference visited Ha Long Bay

Today, in the afternoon, in the framework of investment promotion Quang Ninh in 2012, nearly 100 delegates and guests, representatives ofpress agencies in foreign and countries visited Halong Bay.

Today, in the afternoon, in the framework of investment promotion Quang Ninh in 2012, nearly 100 delegates and guests, representatives ofpress agencies in foreign and  countries visited Halong Bay.
Delegates visited some famous sites on Ha Long Bay as: Dinh Huong island, Ga Choi island, fishing village Suppliers etc. The weather is not favorable, it was much fog and under the guidance and referralsof employees of Ha Long Bay Management Board, most of the delegates and guests were satisfied with the cruise.

It is known that Ha Long Bay Management Board has allocated 14 passenger ships standard level 2, has white paint of 10 businesses to serve the participants of the conference. Work safety, order and security, fire, rescue was the provincial authorities as teams, the Border Guard, Department of Health, Port B12 vessel, the provincialpolice cooperation do well.

This is an honor for Quang Ninh and Vietnam's tourism!

ANCIENT COSTUMES OF VIETNAM

Young researcher Tran Quang Duc took over 3 years to study ancient costumes of Vietnam during the period from the tenth to the nineteenth century and completed the book “Ngan Nam Ao Mu” (A Study of Costumes in 1,000 Years).

Through many ancient paintings and research documents of a number of Asian countries and Vietnam, the costumes of Vietnamese people in the dynasties of Ly, Tran, Le, Nguyen ... have been initially restored and to "fill" the gap of information in this field.

Caramelized pork spare ribs recipe

A very simple dish with familiar ingredients can be delicious meal for your family
Ingredients:
500g pork spare ribs (1.1lb)
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp minced shallot (or white part of spring onion)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp seasoning powder (eg. Knorr - this is optional)
1 tbsp sugar
chopped spring onion or cilantro to garnish
How to make
Chop the ribs into 1.5-inch (4cm) pieces. Soak the ribs in slightly salted water for 15 minutes (or boil for 2-3 mins) to reduce bad smell. Rinse well and drain. 
Marinate with 1 tsp minced garlic, 1 tsp minced spring onion (white part only), 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1/2 tsp seasoning powder. Mix well and set aside for 15 minutes.
Heat a medium sauce pan on medium heat, add in 1 tbsp cooking oil, and 1 tbsp sugar. Wait until the sugar melts and turns into caramel color. Then add the marinated ribs and stir-fry until the color outside changes. 
Add 1/2 cup water (use coconut water for better result) and bring to boil. Cover the lid and cook on medium low for 25 minutes. Then open the lid and continue to simmer for another 25 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
Transfer to serving plate and garnish with black pepper, chopped spring onion or cilantro. Serve with hot steamed rice.

DISCOVERING BEAUTIFUL PLACES IN DA NANG

Da Nang is one of attractive tourist attractions in Vietnam. Coming here, tourists can not only sunbathe but also swim on the beach and comtemplate masterpieces of nature.

Han River Bridge

Phu Quoc national park's activities for tourism

Phu Quoc National Park located in Kien Giang Province has become an ideal eco-tourist destination. It has special and unique biodiversity values compared to other national parks across the country.
Phu Quoc National park covers more than 50% of the island so it is definitely worth considering a visit, particularly if you would like to escape the heat of the daytime sun, a walk along a park trail or motorbike ride on one of roads in the north will give you a taste of this natural environment on Phu Quoc.

There are many available options for visitors in Vietnam travel keen to explore what is on offer.
Hiring motorbike on your own and explore the northerly parts of the island, and the best areas can be found on the road toward Ganh Dau. To get there, taking the road from Duong Dong towards Bai Thom and turn off toward Ganh Dau, the National park becomes more apparent the closer you get to Ganh Dau Village.
Walking Trails are limited, although it is a great way to experience the national park there is a good walking trail 5kms before Ganh Dau, where the going is relatively easy and trail wide enough to take in the surrounding environment. Walking is a particularly pleasant way to escape the heat, as the vegetation provides cover from the heat of the sun.
Taking the same road mentioned previously towards Ganh Dau and 100m after the 5km Ganh Dau road marker on the left hand side you’ll find an opening in the national park with a clearly defined walking trail which continues for a couple of kilometers. Moreover, besides the 5km Ganh Dau marker, the actual trail is not sign posted.
